This half term in Year 2 our topic is:
How Will We Remember You?
This topic will be reflected through English, History and Designn and Technolgy. We will learn about people that made significant changes in history and how these have had an impact today. In English, we will write about Florence Nightingale and Emmeline Pankhurst.
In science we will be finding out all about living things including food chains.
In Maths, we will be learning about measurement: length, height and time. We will be revisiting the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and their methods. We will be using these skills to help us to answer reasoning problems. We will continue to build on our times table fluency by practising our 2s, 5s and 10s.
PE Days - Please wear your PE kit to school
PE kits are a white t-shirt and black shorts or black jogging bottoms. They can choose whether they wear plimsolls or trainers. The children are expected to wear their green or purple school jumper/cardigan on these days too.
